The evening sky: Zaimokuza-beach

The evening sky: Zaimokuza-beach

The evening sun is sinking in the distance over the horizon, sending out dull golden flashes that make the sky, the clouds and the surface of the sea glow in different shades of vermilion.

The coldness and dryness of the clear winter air magically create the ever-changing seascape filled with different golden lights before nightfall.

The sparkling surface of the winter sea is constantly rippling as if it were the eternal heartbeats of the universe to which I belong.

The chilly sea breeze is touching my cheek and the low murmur of the surf is surrounding me like the tenderhearted whisper of the sea spreading out endlessly before my eyes.

The brilliant light of the sinking sun is illuminating the countless scattered clouds high above the sea, which are flowing off gradually in the pale winter sky in the sacred shape of Suzaku (red Chinese phoenix) with its fully outstretched wings.

The ever-changing rays of the sun continue to penetrate into the cold evening sky just before the arrival of nightfall.

The dark shining surface of the sea and the slowly drifting clouds in the dusky blue sky show me the ever-metamorphosing wonder of the sunset glow.

This seascape reveals the secret glory of this planet earth which I can encounter only once this time.

While watching the endless seascape vividly dyed and ceaselessly transformed by the flaming glow of the setting sun, I have a feeling that I am encountering the magnificent spectacle of the ever-fluctuating universe which encircles me.

I imagine that I have come into being from the omnipresent vibrations that fill this universe to spend a moment on this seashore of the earth, and I will eventually return into the fertile cosmic emptiness which is the true birthplace of mine.

Evening glow: Zaimokuza-beach

Evening glow: Zaimokuza-beach

The sun is gradually sinking into the shadow of Izu Peninsula, while dazzling the evening sky and clouds with its brilliant golden rays.

The dark blue sky above the gray lower clouds is studded with the fragments of shredded silver clouds, which are shining like countless nebulas in the interstellar space.

As the quietness of the night slowly intensifies, the iron-blue surface of the sea, which is gently undulating with the low-pitched sounds of the winds and waves, is reflecting the dull golden glow of the setting sun.

The light-tower on the top of Enoshima Island has just begun to slowly emit its flash lights to warn of the imminent falling of darkness.

Thanks to the calmness of the sea breeze, the cumulus clouds are staying quietly in the dark blue evening sky.

The cinnabar afterglow of the sun above the horizon keeps on shining and the numerous layers of clouds are tinted with the various shades of sunset colors.

Until the afterglow reaches its peak and then fades into darkness, the endless sky and ocean, which are colored with rich tones of the sunken sun, remain surrounding me.

The gentle sound of waves rushing ashore continues reaching to me like the eternal heartbeats of the universe.

Sunset seascape in autumn: Zaimokuza-beach

Sunset seascape in autumn: Zaimokuza-beach

The glaring sun is gradually sinking beyond Izu Peninsula, while emitting tender golden light into the blue dusk of the evening sky.

Thanks to the chilly and dry air, the gray silhouettes of Mt. Fuji and Enoshima Island can be clearly seen in the distance behind Inamuragasaki Cape.

The dazzling glare of the setting sun is creating a brilliant band of golden light on the dull blue surface of the gently undulating sea as if to show me the eternal path to the Land of Bliss in the West.

Before sundown: Zaimokuza-beach

Before sundown: Zaimokuza-beach

Without my noticing, the sky has become filled with countless shredded clouds. The slowly sinking sun is casting the gradations of vermilion glow and gradually dyeing the sea, the sky and the clouds with its remaining fire.

Clouds always appear from out of nowhere in the sky and float away on the wind. Like having their own souls, they constantly change their shapes and, then, suddenly disappear into thin air.

The dusky night has just begun to descend in the sky, and the soft brilliance of the evening sea continues fading out moment by moment.

As the sun sinks into the sea, the gradually fading sunlight illuminates the sky and the sea with a variety of subtle colors and shades.

The intense sunshine of summer weakens, and the crisp atmosphere of autumn gradually takes over. The decrease in air moisture brings the transparency of the sky and makes the sunset glow shine more vividly on the western horizon.

Before sundown, the cool sea breeze keeps blowing gently as if to murmur that autumn evening has just returned now.

The sun has already sunk beyond the cape, and the golden afterglow is spreading through the gaps between the dark low clouds covering up the sky.

Although the thick lower layers of clouds have lost their brightness and have turned into dark blue, the upper layers of the torn clouds are still shining softly with the few remaining light emitted by the setting sun.

The calm waves are unceasingly washing the sands to make them sparkle dimly in the deepening dusk of the evening.
